What MUSA is

MUSA is an underwater museum where sculptures are experienced from the water. Some tours use snorkelling, others diving or glass-bottom boats. Choose according to confidence in the sea and who you are travelling with.

The operator lists different galleries and tour types, so read exactly what is included before paying: departure point, water time, equipment and any age or skill requirements.

Choose the right tour

Families and less confident swimmers may prefer a boat option, while experienced snorkellers and divers may want a closer encounter. Visibility, sea conditions and weather always affect the experience.

Use only approved sunscreen and follow the safety briefing. Do not touch sculptures or marine life.

Pair it with an island or beach

MUSA works well with Isla Mujeres or a beach day. If you plan an island ferry too, compare timings and the actual excursion route before trying to fit both into one day.
